Bar/Bat Mitzvah Course:

The Kehila runs a Bar/Bat Mitzvah program in a pluralist and progressive framework that includes studies from Tanach to present day Jewish & Israeli writers. Parents are equal partners in the preparation for Bar/Bat Mitzvah, integrating the private event with the community at large and developing a network between the different families. Bnei Mitzvah, with their families, are involved in:

 Ceremonies for Tefillin & Tallit
 Work & preparation for the Bat/Bar Mitzvah Drash/speech
 Preparation for the Bat/Bar Mitzvah service within the community service
 Meetings & Events for families of the Bnei Mitzvah

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE PARTICIPATION IN OUR PROGRAM FOR A YEAR PRIOR TO BAR/BAT MITZVAH
