I dedicate my remarks this Yom Kippur evening to Gilad Shalit who sits in Gaza – so close geographically, so far from his home, his family and his friends. The high Holidays are upon us and for the third year in a row Gilad Shalit is unable to be with his community.

| It is hard to believe that we are getting close to the Kehila’s 25 anniversary in 2010. What started as a small minyan in Levi and Paula’s living room in 1985, developed into a flourishing community of over 300 families with rich Jewish life and activities for members and for the benefit of the society in general. |
