Kol HaNeshama is an active and vibrant center for Progressive Judaism
in Jerusalem. The community is situated in Baka and serves the greater
population of southern Jerusalem. Kol HaNeshama is a pluralistic,
egalitarian and spiritually welcoming community. We believe that progressive
Judaism inspires us to forge a modern Jewish identity rooted in
tradition and committed to democracy and social justice.

Membership = Involvement
In an attempt to encourage and increase member's involvement and to simultaneously develop a cadre of activists who could be future leadership, the Program committee offers a "Menu of Volunteers Activities" that will allow involvement in "reasonable doses" in a variety of areas.

The Kol Haneshama Mosaic - Facts Figures and the Future, by Zvi Levran Kol HaNeshama is more than just a house of prayer. It serves as home and community to 300 families, and contrary to the stereotype - despite the relatively large number - not all WASP's (white Anglo-Saxons with protecksia)!
